Enrichment API Guide

Notes

What changed, and when

One entry whenever a published number moves: a provider changed a price, a weekly run shifted a result, a correction landed, a cohort got a new version. Nothing here is commentary.

Google Maps to owner email, 2026-10-22: 13 verified owners from 40 places

Two Google Maps searches through Serper (dentists in Austin, plumbers in Denver) on 22 October 2026, 40 places, all with a website, each run through a homepage and /contact scrape, Hunter’s domain search, a routed owner lookup, a routed finder and a routed verifier. Websites printed an email at 14 places; the 10 that verified on the place’s own domain were all role inboxes. Hunter’s domain search gave a verified named address at 10 places ($0.4165), the owner lookup plus finder at 8 ($0.4013 + $0.1224), 13 together (5 dentists, 8 plumbers). 105 addresses verified by Kitt: 65 valid, 24 valid-risky (23 on accept-all domains), 13 invalid, 3 unknown; $0.0015 on 81 of them. The routed owner lookup, listed as free, billed $0.0196 on 17 calls through CompanyEnrich without serving a row; LeadsForge answered 9 places with staff rather than owners. Chain total $1.078 on the ledger, $0.083 per verified owner email.

Apollo now states that unused credits expire each billing cycle

Apollo’s pricing page now answers whether credits roll over. On the re-check of 2026-10-14 its FAQ says: “No. Unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle and do not carry over. This applies to both plan-included credits and purchased add-on credits.” On 2026-09-15 neither the pricing page nor the API pricing docs stated an expiry, so this site recorded it as unknown.

Changed: credit expiry / rollover “Not stated on fetched pages” → “Credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over; add-on credits expire at the end of the cycle too”.

Unchanged: Basic is $49/user/month and Professional $99/user/month (schema.org Offer data on the pricing page); people enrichment is 1 credit for email or demographics, plus 8 if a mobile number is returned, charged only when data is found; organisation enrichment is 1 credit per organisation.

2026-10-07Price change/choose/contact-enrichment-api/choose/company-enrichment-api

Lusha's API is now open to every user on every plan, Free included

Lusha’s API overview no longer contradicts itself on who can hold an API key. On the re-check of 2026-10-07 it says: “Every user gets their own API key by default, on every plan including Free - API access is no longer limited to Admins and Managers.” On 2026-09-14 one Lusha docs page said the API was on the lowest plan and another limited it to admins with the API feature, so this site recorded the conflict.

Changed: API on the entry plan “Yes per one docs page; another says admins with the API feature only” → “Yes, every plan including Free (every user gets their own API key)”.

Unchanged: Starter is $49.90/month for 400 credits ($37.45/month billed annually), the Free plan has 40 credits a month, an email is 1 credit plus 1 credit per request with a minimum of 1 credit even when nothing is returned, a phone is 5 credits, and Free and Starter keys are capped at 100 requests a day.

2026-09-23Price change/choose/contact-enrichment-api

Dropcontact Starter is €29/month for 500 credits, not €79

Dropcontact’s entry price on this site was wrong. On the weekly re-check of 2026-09-23 the pricing page’s own plan-price table (its schema.org Offer data and the script that fills the plan cards) pairs the Starter plan at 500 credits a month with €29, not €79. €79 is the Starter price at 4,000 credits a month. Growth starts at €35/month for 500 credits (€120 is the 4,000-credit tier). Annual Starter is €24/month for 6,000 credits a year. The static page shows €79 beside the 500-credit dropdown before the script runs, which is how the 2026-09-14 reading paired them.

Changed: lowest paid entry €79/month → €29/month (Starter, 500 credits); per email found and per verification €0.158 → €0.058; carryover note “Growth (€120/month)” → “Growth (from €35/month)”. Credit rules on the developer page are unchanged: a credit is charged only when a verified email is returned, and verification-only requests cost 1 credit.

2026-09-17Run/benchmarks/email-verification-apis-disagree

New benchmark: six verification APIs disagree on the same ten addresses

Ten addresses found and verified in one pass through six routes, 17 September 2026. Hunter and LeadMagic called all ten valid; MillionVerifier called seven catch-all; Tomba called four undeliverable; Kitt called seven valid-risky. Cheapest answering route $0.0015, dearest $0.01225. Run cost under seven cents. Also a process finding: stored receipts mask addresses, so a verification comparison must find and verify in the same pass.
